Jean BOCHEUX was born on October 22nd, 1969 in Paris.

Living in Paris.

Awarded a diploma by the School Supérieur of Graphic Art ( E.S.A.G), Workshop Met de Peningen, Julian academy.

From 1990 to 1995, several exhibitions of Painting, in Paris, London and New York.
From 1996 to 2000, he has directed fiction’s movies for Arte & Canal Plus TV compagnies and a short film for the C.R.I.P.S. action (about drug’s addiction).
Familiar with music and images, he realizes about twenty video clips for recognized artists such as Jane Birkin, Jean-Louis Murat, William Sheller, Gérard Depardieu, Hector Zazou …

Joining Quad Productions team in 2005, he directs commercials for international parfums and cosmetics. Since September 2006, he is represented by Fresch Film in London.
He works essentially with international compagnies in England, Asia, India, Middle East and United States.

Jean Bocheux has a real talent for images and beauty movies. Over the years, he knew how to develop a personal universe at the same time sophisticated and contemporary which allowed him to work with prestigious announcers such as Guerlain, Dior or Valentino to quote only them. Also working as a clips video director and a photographer, Jean has an eclectic artistic route. He composes and realizes the most part of his movies and commercials soundtracks. He creates the « Molly Pepper » company (label and plublishing) in 2006 to produce himself his music. He composes alone, either in association with other artists.

By the way, Jean Bocheux continues to work on his own personal projects. He has wins « the best experimental movie » with a short film ” Delicious Saké ” at the Paris festival of shorts movies.
He composes and plays with “Vega’s Facel” a rock band, which has recorded a first album, a Molly Pepper production, (signature Discograph). In September 2009, first tour of the band in London after the release of the vinyl maxi “All the things you know” (remixed by Emperor Machine / Andrew Meecham from the Chiken Lips).

2019

– He is actually working as Artist in Contemporain Art.

In residence in ” Le 100″ (Paris) with “ANTS” (Film, Sculpture and Photography).

The Big Laugh (Painting and Sound) in coloboration with the I.R.C.A.M (Institute of Research for Acoustic and Music) Paris will soon be presented to the public.

He works on a fiction movie called “The White Noise”, in co-writing with Geoff Cox (english writer), in development at Wild Bunch London (suppose to be shot in Shangaï 2019).

A photo book photographed in the south of Morocco will be coming soon, published by « les Editions du Chêne ».

At the same time, Jean continues to direct internationals commercials.
